Maybe some one could produce a texmod file for the spear to make it a bit brighter and add a little more flair to it? I'm sure the community would be grateful.

New Daggers are good. Just like I thought they'd look. Although I disagree with this statement. There are a few other "visable" daggers, mostly zodiac, ungue greens, and MAYBE crominum shards.

Has anyone completed Tombs lately to see if any NEW Greens drop for Para / derv , sin or Rit there ???.
Since they added for derv and para in factions whats to say they have not added for the other 4 proffesions at the end of tombs, may be a long shot but might be worth a run or two to check.

Before Sorrow's, if I am correct, Tombs was a PvP place and the Darkness came with factions, which is also when Sorrow's Furnace was added.

here is the texture if anyone wants to. I can't imagine what happened to the spearhead here, the only thing that makes sense is they were going to put a bump map / some effect on it but forgot.

Sorrow's was added in Autumn and Tombs turned PvE during the Factions beta which was like Feb. or March iirc.

Sorrows Furnace was added in August of 05. I can remember that very clearly, I think towards the end of August though.
Tombs was changed sometime in 06. Before Factions was officially released.

huh?
Sorrow's was added in September of 2005. The Battle Isles was added in January of 2006 in the lead-up to Factions. That is when Tombs was transformed into a pve area. There was a good four months of SF prior to pve usage of Tombs.

No, SF was added before that. SF and the Titan Quests were released in September 2005, we got the Tombs revamp in January 2006.

Well, not sure what a "bump map" is but I'm just going to assume it's what gives some weapons a shiny look to it.
But yeah, if you make the tassel a brighter red like the traditional Qiang spear
and maybe just simply lighten the tone on the head of the spear, I think that would be nice.

Looks like they ment to put a normal map on it but forgot. a normal map (and to a lesser extent, a bump map) is a texture that is overlayed on the regular (diffuse) texture you see there. The Normal map makes it so that when light hits the texture in-game, each pixel calculates the light as if the surface had depth, adding simulated shadows/highlights that react to the light in the game.
Looks like they forgot to put it in, cus the details on the spear head look flat as a pancake in-game.
